Cena AMI w Free2Move ma z kolei wynosić 0,26 EUR (ok. 1,10 PLN) za minutę czyli tyle samo ile za minutę BMW i3 życzy sobie warszawskie InnogyGO!.
Ciężko porównywać sympatycznego Citroena do jednego z najbardziej udanych współczesnych „elektryków” – BMW i3, szczególnie gdy uświadomimy sobie, że AMI 1 rozpędzi się maksymalnie tylko do 45 km/h. Z drugiej jednak strony mogą go prowadzić już 16-latkowie, a we Francji 14-latkowie, ze względu na fakt, że w myśl przepisów nie jest on samochodem a czterokołowcem.
Pojemność akumulatora to 5,5 kWh, którego naładowanie do pełna w zwykłym domowym gniazdku zajmuje tylko 3 godziny. Zasięg nie powala, bo to tylko 100 km, natomiast biorąc pod uwagę gabaryty i typowe przeznaczenie do jazdy w zatłoczonym ruchu miejskim, ten mały pojazd może być naprawdę ciekawym rozwiązaniem dla „aut na minuty” szczególnie, że już w samym założeniu producenta miał być przygotowany do współdzielonej mobilności wobec której producent m.in Citroena ma bardzo ambitne plany.
